We recently received a shipment of Edward Green’s Halifax, which is the boot version of their classic handsewn Dover. It’s a comfortable boot that you can wear both casually and with a suit. We’ve made it in Edward Green’s new Delapre leather, which is soft and only gets better with age.
We also received a restock of the Claverton, which is a simple galosh, more commonly known as a balmoral. The distinctive punching on the toe makes it an elegant dress shoe that goes well with grey and navy suits. It’s a shoe with classic style that won’t be pigeon-holed.
Our trunk show with Edward Green is tomorrow from 11 to 7. Stop by anytime to meet Robert Godley and design a pair of your own EGs.
Our Quoddy Boat Moc features a Vibram rubber sole handsewn to the upper over a layer of cushioning for that classic moccasin profile and feel, but with all the advantages of Vibram grip and durability.
Quoddy boat shoes have always had moccasin construction, and these are no exception. Handsewn in Maine these shoes are made in Horween Dark Olive Chromexcel.

Peccary leather is often used for gloves. It’s light weight and softness make it perfect for the nimble action needed in the sensitive areas of the palm and fingers, and its surprising durability make it very useful for the constant gripping of objects and surfaces.
We’ve made Gaziano & Girling’s hand-stitched reverse split toe shoe, the Hove, in beautiful dark brown Peccary leather, the hide of the Peccary boar. These shoes have a uniquely textured finish, blucher style lacing, and single leather soles, making for a lightweight, supple, refined casual shoe.
There are a good number of moccasin brands in the market today and that’s a good thing. But when it comes to authenticity there’s only one brand for us and that’s Quoddy “Made in Maine”.
We love Quoddy for what makes handsewn shoemaking in the U.S.A. great. Family owned and operated they’ve been making shoes for over 100 years.
Our new Kennebec Chukkas are here and we think they’re our best Quoddy chukkas to date. Made in Rowdy cowhide this leather is rugged, waxy and supple with a great pull up. The Kennebec is lined in glove leather with bellow tip tongues and feature antique brass eyelets, rust laces and brick Vibram soles.
This is a boot that once treated with MPB Leather Dressing will stand up just fine to the elements of autumn. Oh and in case we didn’t mention it they are also incredibly comfortable.
