Norman Vilalta trunk show — March 5 and 6

You are cordially invited to join us for a trunk show with Norman Vilalta on March 5 and 6 from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm each day. Offering both bespoke and made-to-order shoes, Norman Vilalta is a classically trained shoemaker with a modern eye for detail.

Norman studied and practiced law for a number of years, but at 31 decided he wanted to pursue something that truly motivated him. In 2002, he moved from his home in Argentina to Florence, where he trained in the Stefano Bemer workshop. Since then he’s been crafting shoes in his workshop in Barcelona.

All of Norman’s shoes are unique creations that attest to his love of creating beautiful objects. They’re truly pieces of art, and Norman is a true artist, taking inspiration from sources as varied as Ferran Adrià to contemporary Nike sneakers.

Alongside some faces familiar to us here at Leffot (Phillip Car, Tony Gaziano, Dean Girling, Pierre Corthay, and Tommaso Melani, among others), Norman recently took part in the BeShoes event held at the Stefano Bemer workshop during Pitti Uomo 87. We’re proud to host Sr. Vilalta for his first US trunk show this March. We hope you’ll take the opportunity to come see his beautiful work.

Riccardo Bestetti Trunk Show, October 16 and 17

You are cordially invited to join us for Riccardo Bestetti’s first US trunk show. Riccardo will be here this Thursday and Friday, October 16 and 17, to take orders for bespoke and made-to-order shoes.

In addition to regular MTOs, Bestetti also offers the Novecento line, which is made to bespoke standards. An existing last is adjusted to fit your foot, and small changes to the shoe’s shape are also possible. Both the Novecento line and standard MTOs are hand welted with a wood-pegged waist, and are made of the highest quality raw materials.

We’ll have a full size run of try-on shoes to assist in determining your size, so if you’ve never worn Bestettis, you’ll be able to get a sense of the shoes’ fit and feel.

We’re excited to bring Riccardo and his fine shoes to New York, and we hope you’ll join us for two special days.
