In conjunction with our Alden trunk show yesterday in Chicago, we previewed several new models that will be available for pre-order tomorrow, November 18. However we also have two models in stock for purchase now. Shop online or in our Chicago store.
Alden x Leffot Dearborn Boot
We named these boots after Chicago’s Dearborn Street, where the Monadnock Building and our Chicago store are found. They’re made on the Plaza last in tobacco chamois with commando soles, the perfect winter combination if there ever was one. Wear them with nearly anything for a sharp, smart look.
Features: Plaza Last, Tobacco Chamois, Commando Soles
Made with a textured black calfskin and durable, comfortably soft crepe soles, this Alden longwing is a shoe that perfectly straddles the line between casual and dressed up. Wear it with jeans, khakis, or any number of dress slacks.
Longwings have been around for years because they’re classic and versatile. They are time tested and proven and belong in every wardrobe. Fashion goes in and out of style but classic is forever.
Features: Barrie Last, Black Alpine Graine Calfskin, Plantation Crepe Soles
Once again we’ve taken a classic look and added a little roughness. With Alden’s wingtip boot design we’ve utilized reverse chamois leather. Using the backside of this oiled leather reveals a unique, almost sueded texture. Chamois leather is a “fat-liquored” nubuck by Horween, made for increased durability and water resistance. With a commando sole, this is a great boot to liven up those dull winter days on the horizon.
Two Alden pre-orders are now available. Both are the popular Tanker model. One pair is in Horween’s color 8 shell cordovan, and the other is in tobacco chamois, which is an oiled nubuck that’s great for foul weather. Stock sizes in these shoes are available to purchase online. We’re also accepting requests for non-stock sizes by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Introducing the Christopher St. Collection, an exclusive collaboration with Quoddy. We’ve taken the popular Tukabuk, Wabanaki, and Perry Boot models and made them in three colors of Horween’s oiled Chamois leather. Chamois is an oiled nubuck that’s water resistant and very soft. Paired with crepe or Vibram soles, these shoes are perfect for wet, nasty days. Each has a contrasting backstay, cream laces, and leather midsole.
All of Quoddy’s shoes are moccasin stitched, and their method of construction creates a shoe that functions like a glove for your foot. It surrounds your foot in supple leather, and allows your foot muscles, bones, and tendons to support you as they were intended to, while offering protection, cushioning, and style.
Leffot is a U.S. stockist of the ever popular Saphir shoe care products. Saphir MDO (Medaille d’or 1925) is produced in France and is one of the finest shoe polishes available. We stock 100 ml wax tins, 75 ml creme jars, and 75 ml rénovateur arguably the finest leather cleaner and conditioner on the planet. We also stock horsehair brushes and baby soft cotton chamois to buff and shine your most precious shoes.
This exclusive line has its origins in formulations that have earned Saphir the award of the GOLD MEDAL, PARIS 1925. Composed of turpentine, vegetable waxes, animal and mineral fossils, its formula is unchanged and has not suffered the technical progress of chemistry such as the addition of silicones and resins.
Here’s something you might not have expected. We’ve taken Alden’s classic longwing blucher design, used for decades on heavy cordovan brogues, and made it with Horween oiled Tobacco Chamois leather.
Along with commando soles, these shoes are a surprisingly elegant mix of rugged and dress shoe style. With water resistant leather and a heavy duty lugged sole that can take a beating and keep you standing, these shoes will help keep you dry and looking sharp.
If you don’t “just” want to wear boots all winter, these LWB’s are the way to go
