Our client Mr. J. wears the Amberley by Church’s religiously. The Amberley is the classic Chelsea Boot and is stocked in Black Calf with leather soles.
Mr J requested one in Brown Nevada Calf and another pair in Black Calf both pairs with rubber soles. They came out looking great.
We’ve just received three new Edward Green models, of which two are new designs and one which is new to Leffot. The two new designs are the Claverton on the 82 last in Dark Oak and the Midford also on the 82 last in Black Calf.
I really like the sleeker lines of the 82 last on these two models. It has a much more stylish feel than the 202, it’s very elegant but also perfect for office wear.
The third style is the Ringwood in Edwardian Antique on the 888 last. This butterfly gusset shoe with medallion toe has a very continental boot look to it. It’s a great looking shoe especially with casual slacks such as cords, flannels or jeans.
I am quite excited as are many of the clients that have visited Leffot about the incredible Oak Bark sole that Tony Gaziano & Dean Girling have developed for their bench made collection. I know of no other RTW shoe that offers such a beautifully beveled waist.
This is the type of sole you would expect to find on a bespoke made shoe. The result is a tight waist that looks incredibly trim and elegant and a shoe that fits like a glove.
Shown here the Gaziano & Girling Mitchell in Black Calf on the TG73 Last.
