The chukka boot is a traditional shoe that also has a decidedly modern look. This pair by Rider Boot Co. is no exception. Made in chocolate suede on single leather soles, they’re comfortable and appropriate for nearly any season. Treat with some Nano Protector and you’ll look sharp in all weather.
We recently received several chukka boots from Rider Boot Co. The chukka is a traditional shoe that also has a decidedly modern look, and these are no exception. We have three models — the Ithaca, the Madrid, and the Walker Lite — with each serving a different purpose. The Ithaca and Madrid are slightly dressier, and pair well with jeans, chinos, and separates. The Walker Lite, with its lightweight ripple soles, is a strictly casual boot, perfect to wear with denim. You can’t go wrong with any of them.

The Jackson Boot is Rider Boot Co.’s signature boot, so it stands to reason that it would represent something essential about the brand itself. Like all Rider shoes, it embodies a meeting of American and Continental style, a balance between refinement and ruggedness, and a mix of style and practicality.
Wear these shoes with anything from jeans to a casual suit and treat them how you like: let them take on a little wear or polish them up for a more formal look. The Sestriere Soles make them no sweat in the weather, so don’t be afraid to make them into a go-to, everyday shoe.
We are offering the Jackson in three leathers, the unique Navy Antique, the rich and beautiful Russett, and the rugged Waxy Mohawk. All three are great choices for your wardrobe.
Our Rider Boot Co. Trunk is tomorrow from 12-7 pm. For those of you in NY you’re in for a real treat. The show will feature a collection of boots on hand for purchase as well as samples of boots made to order.
Ron Rider is as one of the hardest working and nicest guys in the shoe industry. He will be here all day, come on by and check it out. Here’s a preview of some of the stock boots that will be available at the show.

Fall is coming and that means time to plan for boots. Rider Boot Co. just sent us some samples of their Jackson (formally known as Hobo) boot for the new season in a variety of leathers. It’s amazing what a simple change in color or texture can do to a shoe.
We’ll probably go with 2-3 colors but we’ve yet to make a decision on which ones. We’d love to hear from you on the colors you like best. We value your opinion and feedback and we’ll bear it in mind when we make our final choice for our Fall 2012 stock order.
