Yet another example of our MTO program, shown here two recent pairs of made to order Gaziano and Girling shoes.

Two customers ordered the same model, same leather, and the same soles, but on two different lasts: the DG70 and the TG73. Thus offering the a unique opportunity to see the same model in two ways.

It’s always a pleasure to open a box of Gaziano & Girling shoes and even more so when it’s a long awaited pair of shoes Made to Order (MTO). This pair of Antibes loafers was well worth the wait judging by the look on our client’s face who flew over as soon as they arrived.

The remarkable feature of this model is the reverse handsewn apron and split toe seam. One can only imagine the level of skill and craftsmanship it takes to perform this task without flaw.

The best things in life take time and are most certainly worth the wait. And when it comes to hand crafted shoes quality cannot be rushed.

Church’s Shoes of Northampton, England has produced these two made to order pairs for our clients. Both are heavily brogued wingtips, which we love on the Church’s classic 173 last.

What’s interesting about them is the two different materials; the white suede is very textural while the burgundy polished binder is smooth as glass. Both are handsome and timeless of course at different times of the year.
