Two customers ordered the same model, same leather, and the same soles, but on two different lasts: the DG70 and the TG73. Thus offering the a unique opportunity to see the same model in two ways.

Gaziano & Girling Burlington

The newest arrival by Gaziano & Girling is the Burlington in black calfskin. We love the formality of black oxfords but these shoes also have great style, which is something not easily found in other captoe oxfords.

That’s not really surprising to us though because G&G make some of the most stylish and sophisticated English shoes today.

Peccary leather is traditionally used for gloves. It’s light weight and softness make it perfect for the nimble action needed in the sensitive areas of the palm and fingers, and its surprising durability make it very useful for the constant gripping of objects and surfaces. The hands, however, are not your only important extremities.

We’ve made Gaziano and Girling’s hand-stitched reverse split toe shoe, the Hove, in beautiful dark brown Peccary leather, the hide of the Peccary boar. These shoes have a uniquely textured finish, blucher style lacing, and single leather soles, making for a lightweight, supple, refined casual shoe.

The Gaziano & Girling Hayes is one of the brands most popular models. The combination of clean sharp lines and diamond perforations make this U throat oxford a winner.

This time around we choose to have them made in Vintage Rioja calfskin, a deep wine color as the name suggests. It’s an ideal color to wear with blues, grays, and dare we say even black.

Gaziano & Girling shoes are a joy to look at and incredibly comfortable on the feet. Our newest arrival is the Rothschild and they are stunningly handsome.

This sophisticated wingtip on the smart round DG70 last is in Vintage Cedar and will pair beautifully with blue, grey or brown suits. And of course they feature the tapered waist and fiddleback oak bark soles a hallmark of the G&G collection.

There is no other shoe that epitomizes the traditional “Business Shoe” like a black captoe oxford. There’s no end of black captoe oxfords out there but then there is Gaziano & Girling’s “Oxford” which takes the genre to a whole other level.
