One of our favorite American made shoes is the Alden Longwing Blucher’s known by the acronym LWB. And one of our favorite Horween shell cordovan colors is Ravello known by the acronym RSC.

Combine them together and you get one of the most handsome and classic shoes today. This is Longwing heaven folks it really doesn’t get much better than this.

This is a re-issue of one of our favorite shoes. The tan suede longwing is a dream to wear and easy on the eyes. Soft luxurious suede and double flex soles make these shoes ultra comfortable.

Made on the Barrie last these are a great looking shoe for casual outfits.

Alden x Leffot 405C

Alden’s Indy Boot is a classic work boot designed for comfort, support, and endurance. It was not, however, designed for winter. Fortunately, this problem is solved easily enough.

The addition of commando soles to the classic 405 design makes for an entirely new boot, with added traction for slippery surfaces and a lighter weight for nimbly dodging around patches of ice and snow.

Don’t be afraid to wear these once the snow melts though. Smooth brown cowhide makes for a more refined boot than most, which increases wearability and versatility, and lugged soles are suitable for almost any terrain. If you only own one boot, it should be this one.

We love our Longwings from Alden; each is like one of our children beautiful in it’s own way. The design key of this particular model is its ability to deal with harsh weather with grace.

We’ve taken the classic Alden LWB design and given it all of the details needed for maximum durability and comfort.

That means high-traction natural plantation crepe soles, pre-stitched reverse welts, water-resistant oiled Kudu leather, agatine eyelets, and cordo-hyde laces.

Alden x Leffot J.C. Indy Boot

The Alden Indy Boot has been around for decades. It’s endurance is due in large part to its incredibly unique style. It was originally created as an orthopedic work boot, and yet made up in shell cordovan it’s quite refined, with a slim look, hand-stitched toe, leather lining, and a structured heel and sole.

There are a lot of leather boots out there, but there is still only one Indy.

Our J.C. Indy boot uses Alden’s tradition of utility and refinement through the employment of Horween Cigar Shell Cordovan leather and lugged commando soles. Dark and rich, the cigar cordovan will prove highly wearable with a subdued color and shine.

One year to the day we’ve re-issued one of our most popular and versatile Alden x Leffot boots. Our Tanker or NST (Norwegian Split Toe) in Horween Color 8 shell cordovan is simply one of those styles that have mass appeal and why?

Maybe because the deep rich color of the shells combined with the antiqued edge commando soles and old fashioned handsewn vamp is timeless.

Alden x Leffot Longwings

The Longwing Blucher is not exclusive to Alden, in fact it’s been in production in the US and UK for many years. It is however a very American style and is often referred to around Northampton as the American wingtip. Which is to say this shoe has All American staying power.

Alden of New England has perfected the use of shell cordovan in making the LWB. One of the ways they do that is by using cordovan tanned only by Horween Leather Company in Chicago Illinois. It is with this cordovan that we designed our two new LWB made expressly for Leffot.

Color 8 and Black shell cordovan is the backbone of any shoe collection and yet some men are without either. If you are a lover of cordovan and longwings these shoes are designed for you.

Alden x Leffot Greenwich Boot II

There’s something about Alden and wingtips that is inexplicable. Our Greenwich boots are a favorite among fans of both genres. The newest interpretation is one we think you’re bound to like.

This boot is made on the Barrie last in Burnished Tan calfskin a warm chestnut color that is ultra versatile. To complete the detailing we went with nine brown agatine eyelets, 360-degree pre-stitch reverse welt on double waterlock soles what more can we say?

Just this, in our humble opinion a more wearable boot would be hard to find.
