Everyone loves our Basil Racuk bags and for good reason, they’re urbane, sophisticated, completely hand crafted and under the radar. The Soft Brief in buffalo is a particular favorite, I took this bag with me to Paris it’s a perfect carry on and tote. The padded handles are very comfortable not to mention how much this bag can hold and still look chic, I can’t tell you how many compliments I got.
Leffot will host Basil’s first New York trunk show this spring, details coming soon.

We’re pleased to announce our recent collaboration with Northern Californian bag maker Basil Racuk. These bags are urban, sophisticated, well-made and simply thoughtful in design. Basil’s philosophy is “Branding is no longer relevant in the way that we’ve come to expect it over the past 10+ years, and should therefore be eliminated whenever possible.” Because of this, there is no visible marking on the exterior of his products. We like that.
Sourcing domestic hides, Racuk prefers waxed cow, supple pebbled deer and buffalo leathers for his unstructured, raw designs. Cut and sealed edges with minimal stitching and subtle hardware fastenings add a finishing touch without distracting from the material. Every item is handmade to order by Basil in his workshop near Berkeley, CA.
The Basil Racuk collection is currently available at Leffot.

Our new Borsalino modified Ivy cap has a quilted lining to keep your head nice and warm. Made of black-brushed twill cotton in a herringbone pattern this hat is soft to the touch as well as the eyes. For those that prefer a smaller more trim style of cap this hat is for you.

We like Psycho Bunny for many reasons, they’re our friends, they produce fun products that everyone enjoys and because they have lots of heart. Well done PB, you guys rock!
Dear Sirs (Psycho Bunny),
Thank you so much for the packages you sent our platoon. It was a complete and utter shock to receive such a nice and thoughtful gift. The soldiers love their caps as they keep them extra warm and since the entire the platoon has them, we can wear them around while everyone else has to wear Army issue caps. The dominoes have been put to good use already, but I fear for the safety of the tables we have as some of the larger soldiers play the game a little too rough. I have attached a picture of the platoon trying to look tough sitting on one of our gun trucks. Two of our soldiers are not pictured as they are at home on leave for the birth of their children (number 2 for SGT Dew and number 4 for SPC Lopez). Thank you again and Merry Christmas.
Sincerely,
1LT Jeffrey A Killian

We love a good cap, which is why we love Borsalino they make really great ones. The Duckbill is a very flattering style which, looks good on a wide variety of head shapes. Unlike the Newsboy it’s a trimmer, narrower cap with less material and a rounder duck like bill, hence the name.
Great shoes, great hat, and your covered top and bottom.

This week we’re previewing the new “Hobo” boot by Rider Boot Co. delivery is imminent. These are great looking casual boots made up in Mohawk (rough out) leather and Sestriere soles. We’ve taken plenty of reserve orders but there are still a few sizes available.
Along with the Hobos is one of the new Psycho Bunny Tartan scarves in 100% cashmere, and our Borsalino fur felt fedora; a very comfortable and stylish hat.
