The way I see it, these boot and the original 1000 mile are like the Range Rover of footwear. You can wear them day in and day out, feeling comfortable and stylish, while at the same time knowing that even though you may never need to cross a river or climb a mountain (especially in the city of Los Angeles), you definitely can.

I came in and purchased these yesterday. They look and feel (and smell…for now) great! Daniel may be right with never needing to climb a mountain or cross a river, but the urban terrain can also be very unforgiving. I know these will stand up great and look all the better from the elements of subway tunnels and january snow turned sludge. Thanks again for all the help.

Hello once again – I posted on the page that stated these were and later found this page. I’m headed out to Afghanistan here soon and would love to get my paws on a pair before they sell out (at least one use before I deploy is all I ask). Boy, I’ve been waiting patiently for the Addisons to come out since it was announced.
