My Friends Shoes

When our friend Junji paid a visit from Tokyo recently I was struck at once by his shoes. I’ve been captivated by the Edward Green Wigmore for some time now. His pair were well worn and well loved.

The thing about shoes is that they look best worn in. The creases and scuffs are a testament to the fondness we have for them. As for the Wigmore I’m sure they’ll eventually find a spot on our table they’re one righteous pair of shoes. And as for Junji all I can say is, I like your style dude.

    He has a pair of Hobo boots but he must have left them at home….

    Are AE so awful shoes to say that “he didn’t walk in wearing Allen-Edmonds”?
