Feeling Hazy

We received several pairs of Gaziano & Girling MTO’s. The Hayes has always been a popular model; something about the Adelaide throat and clean line makes this a particularly versatile and sophisticated shoe. These two pairs are slightly different from each other but both are fine examples of the extraordinary shoe making of Gaziano & Girling.

This pair was modified by continuing the punching around the top line of the shoes. We also requested a different toe medallion, which swoops out further along the side of the toe box.

What a beautiful way to do a black formal shoe. Looks like those don’t have the uusual G&G heel cant. I think I prefer them that way.

I’ve noticed that the latest pairs of my Gaziano and Girlings no longer have the canted heel either.

I love the way the punching continues along the top edge of the black pair.
