The Sebago-Moc Company was founded in 1946 by three New England natives whose first shoe was a hand-sewn penny loafer. Two years after the initial founding, Sebago-Moc began selling its leather boat shoe and they have been an American icon ever since. This May, Sebago introduces its 1946 LTD. EDITION boat shoes, and when we say, “limited” we mean limited.
These LTD’s will be made in three color combinations, available in eight pairs of whole sizes, twenty-four in total. No reorders no do overs, and to make them even more exclusive these shoes will only be available at select stores, Leffot included.

Josh
I would assume so.
Looks great!
Are they made in the USA?
These handsewn boat shoes are made in the Dominican Republic at our Sebago factory by hand, one by one, in over 125 unique production steps. They are made using a moccasin construction – meaning that your foot is wrapped entirely in leather, including underneath the foot. Most boat shoe manufacturers eliminate this leather to save cost and replace it with cheap fabric. We believe there is signficant comfort that comes from this leather ‘moccassin’ fit and ultimately improves over time as the shoe wears in and the leather conforms uniquely to your foot.
Keep in mind these are extremely limited. Production is done. There are no more to be had and can only be found in Sebago’s finest stores like Leffot on May 1st.
Interesting take on the boat shoe. How much will these run?
These will be $135.
Steven, Any clue as to what sizes or colors you will stock?
