    Steven, thanks for the heads-up on this brand. As I’m not near NYC I ordered some directly from the manufacturer and told them I was referred by Leffot. I just treated 3 pair of boots in the house, including my Alden 405s. This stuff is great!

    I have heard from a couple of sources that mink oil can corrode stitching over time and that it’s no longer recommended for long term shoe or saddle care. Is the jury still out on this? Is this product some how different than other mink oil products in this respect?

    By no means do I claim to be a mink oil expert but I have never heard it can corrode stitching. Perhaps others can comment.

    how much are they? i was about to order online but S&H is more than the price of the product. seeing that u r the only one in NYC to carry the product, i’ll might as well come by and pick it up.
