These are my new Alden penny loafers in Genuine Horween shell cordovan, color 8. I haven’t worn penny loafers for such a long time; I forgot what I’ve been missing. An easy comfortable fit, and classic styling, I’m particularly attracted to the hand sewn moc toes.
These are on the Van last, which like the Barrie is nice and round allowing plenty of room in the toe box. I can’t wait to get these nice and creased; it’s one of the things I love about shell cordovan.

This Alden loafers are as classical as American shoes can be, and should be in every shoe lovers closet. they are in mine.
Mine too. I own the #8 unlined and the revello lined.
Is there a significant difference in the sizing between the unlined and lined version. The BB unlined in a 9D is too small and 9.5D is too big. Do you suppose your lined version will fit? Do you have a 9D in stock?

The Van last is half size down as the Barrie and TruBalance. We are sold out of 9.5D in the loafer but contact me directly if you would like us to check availability with Alden.
