New G&G Models

I’m very excited about the new G&G models; these two are the first to arrive. All the MTO’s posted this week are from the first production we’ve received from their new factory. The workmanship, leather quality, and coloring are exceptional, shades of future past.

Looks like G&G took some inspiration from a modification of the Hayes I ordered MTO a few years ago in their iteration of the St. James, except I requested diamond punching, and at that time, the only shape of the adelaide they offered had an angle, rather than being rounded (although I asked for a rounded adelaide, but was only available bespoke). I can’t recall if I have the broguing on the quarters.

    Ted,

That may well be and I’m sure your Hayes are beautiful. I asked Tony about the St James last spring when it was introduced and he told me that it was modeled after the Bespoke shoe you referred to.

He said that he has gotten so many requests for it as an MTO that he created the St James to fill that void.

    Great comment, thanks,
    Steven

Ha! Now that you mention it, I, in-turn, recall basing my modification on the bespoke shoe I saw.

Glad to see you carrying these great shoes.
