    The timing of this post is serendipitous because I was just thinking yesterday about trying to convince a female friend to buy a pair of men’s shoes after she complained about what a poor value most women’s shoes are.

    How did the sizing work out. Were these custom order Aldens? I wear a women’s 8.5 but have never found a pair of Aldens that quite fit my feet in the styles for women. I’d love some of those cordovan penny loafers… or the longwings in my style.

    The woman who bought the longwings bought them in a small men’s size. Alden does not make women sizes. I’m happy to help you find a pair of shell cordovan longwings or loafers.
