One little, two little, three little Indy-an’s…. Yes there are plenty of Indy-an’s out there. Alden has announced they are adding two new Indy boots to their stock range. They’re also moving the Indy from it’s home in the Foot Balance (orthopedic) range to the main collection. Perhaps not a move of huge significance to many, but Alden is a company that moves slowly and deliberately. Given the popularity of this model it’s time they gave the Indy it’s due.
For spring 2010 model 403 in Brown Chromexcel on neoprene cork soles and 404 in Kudu with heavy lug soles will join model 405, the original Indy boot. All models will be made on the Trubalance last and all will be leather lined. Yes there will be a slight price increase but hey, it’s worth it.

These boots are designed as work boots not snow boots. They work for me as a good NY winter boot but I don’t know how they would do in Norway.
