Sole Survivor – Alden Tour

After having posted the Horween video on the tanning of shell cordovan I had several comments to the effect that it was an excellent video “but”, it would have been even “better” if it had featured Alden.

In the interest of all the “Aldenistas” out there, of which there are many, I present a behind the scenes video of the Alden Shoe Co. by Emily Sweeney of The Boston Globe. This is good stuff…

FYI: Leffot is now stocking the “Indy” boot aka model 405 in Brown Cow Hide on the Tru Balance last.

In addition we are currently taking reserve orders for the Limited Edition “J.C.” Indy Boot in Cigar Shell Cordovan with commando soles. Delivery is anticipated for late ’09 early ’10. Please contact us via email is you are interested in reserving a pair. Sizes may be limited.

    Awesome vid, nothing but a sense of pride for the company. I’m desperately trying to save up for a pare of these boots, just to say I walked a mile in my heroes shoes. Worn from the man to the myth, great story behind the shoe worn by such an icon. One of these days…
