I began buying good-quality shoes about a year ago, starting with 2 pairs of Grensons. Then moved to Vass, EG, JM Weston, and Corthay. After being so obsessed with classic shoes, I’ve come to appreciate Corthay’s aesthetic. He truly does create new things without copying, the mantra of his Oedipus line. His wilfrid and bucy designs are incredible. The Arca is one of the best two-eyelet derby designs out there.

Sounds like you have built quite a nice collection. I agree that Pierre is an artist and produces shoes that are true to his vision. The Arca is hands down the most admired and sold style we have by Corthay.
