The Hove

Our new Gaziano & Girling shoe is the Hove. This derby has a hand-sewn apron on a soft square toe box. It’s beautifully finished and can easily be worn as either a casual shoe or with a navy or gray suit.

I agree Dandy D. and I also agree with Steven that this is a shoe, unlike the Dover, that can be worn more comfortably with a suit.

That said, in my opinion, it isn’t a question of “better or worse.” They are both different and very, very good.

Also worth mentioning is the Alden in shell (color #8), preferably on the Aberdeen but also on the Barrie. The norwegian split-toe is probably my favorite shoe style.
