MTO’s Before And After

Edward Green will offer a part made try on pair of MTO shoes if we need to make sure of a size that is not a typical fit.

They arrive in protective wrap and without soles as you can see by the cork. At this point they can be adjusted a width wider or narrower. Here we have two shoes that were sent to us in the try on stage:

The Walcot, Before

And the finished model in Black Calf on the 888 Last

The Ecton, Before

And the finished model in Dark Oak Antique on the 888 Last

In the case of the Ecton you can notice that the color of the try on pair was not yet finished. These were also finished on the Thames Soles.

What’s the benefit of Thames sole versus other rubber soles such as Dainite or Commando?

The Thames is thinner than a dainite or commando so it has a finer dressier look.

Can you get the Thames in an extended sole?

    Todd,
    I don’t see why not.
